cause you told me that i would find a home within the fragile substance of my soul
take me up into the night
on wings like shadows with
their sweet suffocating
stench, they fly me higher
and higher.
tie me up and drop me
from the highest place where
I am out of the stars’
reach, let me go, send
me sprawling and tumbling
tumbling. break through
the atmosphere faster
than you never knew I
flare up, in flames I
spin and drop lower lower
closer to collision
and I hit the ground in
a cloud of smoke and

never to speak again.
